A boy riding a pocket bike was killed in a crash with a Subaru at an intersection in Lancaster on Sunday afternoon, March 16, 2025.
According to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, the incident occurred around 1:45 p.m. at Lancaster Boulevard and 32nd Street West.
Investigators stated that the Subaru was traveling eastbound on Lancaster Boulevard when it was struck by the pocket bike, which was moving south on 32nd Street West. Reports indicate that the rider failed to stop at a posted stop sign before the collision.
The young rider was ejected from the bike and sustained severe injuries. He was transported to a hospital, where he was later pronounced dead. His age has not been disclosed.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
