A two-vehicle crash left one person dead and another injured in Martinez on Friday evening, March 7, 2025.
According to the Martinez Police Department, the crash occurred at approximately 6:38 p.m. near the intersection of Alhambra Avenue, Elderwood Drive, and Glenview Drive.
One of the drivers succumbed to injuries at the scene, while the other was transported to a nearby medical center with non-life-threatening injuries.
Authorities are investigating the cause of the collision. It is currently unknown whether drugs or alcohol were factors.
