[03-06-2026] San Bernardino County, CA – Multi-Vehicle Crash Blocks SB I-15 Near US Hwy 395 Interchange

A multi-vehicle crash blocked multiple southbound lanes of Interstate 15 in Hesperia on Friday morning, March 6, 2026.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash was reported at around 10:52 a.m. on the southbound Interstate 15 just south of the US Highway 395 interchange.

CHP traffic logs indicate that between six and nine vehicles were involved in the collision. The crash blocked several southbound lanes and caused heavy congestion in the area.

Traffic backed up beyond Main Street, with significant delays throughout the corridor. Mariposa Road also saw heavy congestion as motorists exited the freeway and used the road as a detour around the crash.

Emergency crews responded to the scene and worked to clear the roadway. Information regarding injuries was not immediately available.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation by the California Highway Patrol Victorville Station.
