According to Sonora Police, the incident occurred around noon, prompting officers to direct traffic and temporarily block the eastbound lane of Stockton Street.
Authorities rerouted traffic onto Green Street and Church Street for about 20 minutes while clearing the scene.
The adult male pedestrian suffered minor injuries but refused medical attention.
