[03-05-2025] Eight People Injured After Four-Vehicle Crash on 10th Street in MarysvilleEight people were hospitalized following a four-vehicle collision on 10th Street at G Street in Marysville on Wednesday afternoon, March 5, 2025.

According to the Marysville Fire Department, the crash was reported at approximately 1:00 p.m. and involved a Nissan sedan, a Tesla sedan, a sports utility vehicle, and a Lakeview fuel tanker.

Emergency responders, including firefighters from the Linda Fire Protection District and the Yuba City Fire Department, assisted Marysville fire crews and Bi-County Ambulance personnel at the scene. The fire department used extraction equipment to free trapped occupants from the SUV.

Marysville Police Department Lieutenant Vance Nabeta stated that the collision was initially determined to be an eastbound rear-end crash, but the investigation remains ongoing.

Traffic on State Highway 20 was re-routed in both directions while authorities responded to the scene.

The identities of the injured parties and the names of the drivers were not immediately released. The incident remains under investigation.
