[02-28-2025] Minor Injuries Reported After Sedan Crashes Into Metro Bus in CarsonMinor injuries were reported after a sedan crashed into a Metro bus in Carson on Friday night, February 28, 2025.

According to authorities, the collision occurred at approximately 10:43 p.m. at the intersection of 228th Street and Vermont Avenue. 

Emergency responders from the Los Angeles County Fire Department, the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, and the California Highway Patrol arrived at the scene.

Officials reported that the crash resulted in only minor injuries and no individuals were believed to have been transported to a hospital.

Preliminary investigations indicate that an Infiniti sedan crossed the northbound lanes of Vermont Avenue, went through the center median, and collided with a southbound Metro bus. The sedan’s driver was evaluated for potential DUI at the scene but did not appear to be impaired.

The California Highway Patrol South Los Angeles Area office is handling the ongoing investigation into the crash.
