A motorcyclist was killed in a collision involving a pickup truck on West Ocean Avenue and South Bailey Avenue in Lompoc, on Tuesday afternoon, February 25, 2025.
According to the Santa Barbara County Fire Department, the crash occurred at approximately 4:10 p.m. when the motorcycle collided with a pickup truck.
The solo male rider was pronounced dead at the scene. His identity has not yet been released.
The female driver of the pickup truck was not injured.
West Ocean Avenue was closed between Floradale Avenue and South V Street as a result of the crash.
The California Highway Patrol is investigating the cause of the collision.
