A three-vehicle crash disrupted traffic on westbound Interstate 80 in Newcastle, Placer County, on Monday evening, February 10, 2025.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision occurred around 6:20 p.m. south of Gilardi Road. The impact blocked at least one lane, causing traffic congestion in the area.
Emergency responders were dispatched to the scene, and medics were requested. However, it is unclear if any injuries were sustained.
Drivers were advised to expect delays as authorities worked to clear the roadway. The CHP is investigating the cause of the crash.
