A two-vehicle crash involving a pickup truck and a semi-truck occurred at an intersection in Porterville on Thursday, February 5, 2026.
According to the California Highway Patrol, officers responded to the collision at the intersection of Road 208 and Avenue 128.
The crash involved a Chevrolet 2500 and a Peterbilt 386 towing a side-dump trailer.
Authorities said the impact caused the side-dump trailer to overturn at the scene. No injuries were reported as a result of the collision.
CHP reminded drivers that California law requires motorists to come to a complete stop at all controlled intersections and to proceed only when it is safe to do so.
The incident remains under investigation.
