Three people were killed, and six others were injured after a vehicle crashed into a grocery store in Westwood, Los Angeles, on Thursday afternoon, February 5, 2026.
According to the Los Angeles Fire Department, the crash was reported at around 12:11 p.m. at Rochester Avenue and Westwood Boulevard near a 99 Ranch Market.
Fire officials said a vehicle drove into the structure, where multiple people were inside the store at the time.
LAFD confirmed that three victims who were inside the grocery store’s bakery were pronounced dead at the scene. The victims were identified as a 55-year-old man, a 42-year-old woman, and a 30-year-old man.
Fire officials later reported that among the injured, two people were listed in serious condition, two suffered minor injuries, and two declined further medical care at the scene.
Authorities also confirmed that a bicyclist was struck approximately one block from the crash site before the vehicle continued into the building. The bicyclist survived and declined transport to a hospital.
Officials said the driver of the vehicle, described as an elderly woman, remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators.
Authorities indicated the crash appeared to be accidental, and investigators continue to review whether a medical or mechanical issue may have contributed.
