A 53-year-old pedestrian sustained a fractured pelvis after being struck by a vehicle in a crosswalk in San Diego’s Midway District on Tuesday morning, February 4, 2025.
According to the San Diego Police Department, the crash occurred at approximately 7:51 a.m. in the 3500 block of Sports Arena Boulevard.
An unidentified white four-door sedan was traveling westbound when it struck the pedestrian, who was crossing from south to north in the marked crosswalk. The pedestrian was transported to the hospital for treatment.
Authorities are searching for the driver, who fled the scene. Anyone with information about the incident is encouraged to contact the San Diego Police Department or Crime Stoppers at (888) 580-8477.
