[02-01-2026] San Diego County, CA – Four Injured After Multi-Vehicle Crash on SR-94 in Potrero

Four people were injured following a multi-vehicle collision on a highway in the Potrero area of San Diego County on Sunday night, February 1, 2026.

According to Cal Fire, emergency crews were dispatched to State Route 94 just west of State Route 188, where at least two vehicles were involved in the crash. 

Authorities stated that four individuals, who have not yet been identified, were transported to a hospital at approximately 9:20 p.m. Their conditions were not specified.

Officials reported that State Route 94 was shut down in both directions at Tecate Road to allow for inspection and cleanup following the crash.

The cause of the collision remains under investigation.
