[01-27-2026] Los Angeles County, CA – Multi-Vehicle Crash Temporarily Closes Hollywood 101 Freeway in Studio City

A multi-vehicle crash temporarily closed all lanes of the Hollywood 101 Freeway in Studio City, Los Angeles, early Tuesday morning, January 27, 2026.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash was reported at approximately 4:49 a.m. on the northbound side of the freeway near Laurel Canyon Boulevard. 

CHP issued a SigAlert as a result of the collision, which led to the full closure of the freeway in the area.

Authorities said all lanes were reopened by approximately 5:49 a.m. It was not immediately clear whether anyone was seriously injured.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation by the CHP.
