[01-25-2026] Los Angeles County, CA – One Killed, Another Seriously Injured After Rear-End Crash in Palmdale

A man was killed and another was seriously injured after a rear-end collision at Rancho Vista Boulevard and Dunbar Street in Palmdale on Sunday evening, January 25, 2026.

According to the Palmdale Sheriff’s Station, the crash occurred around 7:10 p.m. when a 2019 Audi RS 3 struck a 2004 Scion xB from behind. 

Authorities stated the Audi was traveling at a high rate of speed prior to the collision. The driver of the Audi was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the Scion was transported to a hospital by ambulance with major injuries, officials said.

The crash remains under investigation.
