A hit-and-run crash involving three vehicles was reported at East Hawk and Dogwood Road in Imperial County on Sunday evening, January 18, 2026.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident occurred just before 7:00 p.m. when a Mercedes-Benz collided with a Nissan Pathfinder and a red pick-up truck.
The Mercedes was found at the scene, but the driver had fled.
At last report, the CHP said the investigation was ongoing and that evidence had been found that may lead to a suspect.
