[01-18-2025] Man Killed In Two-Vehicle Crash On Wheeler Avenue At Sherwood Drive In La VerneA man was killed in a two-vehicle crash in La Verne on Saturday morning, January 18, 2025.

According to the La Verne Police Department, the collision occurred at around 11:45 a.m. in the 6700 block of Wheeler Avenue at Sherwood Drive.

Emergency responders pronounced the man dead at the scene. Sgt. D. Harden of La Verne Police added that the driver of the other vehicle remained at the scene and cooperated with authorities.

Wheeler Avenue was temporarily closed between Sherwood and Kent drives as police conducted their investigation into the cause of the crash.
