[01-12-2026] Alameda County, CA – Motorcyclist Killed in Crash with Pickup Truck on Cushing Parkway in Fremont

A traffic collision killed one person and caused major traffic delays in Fremont on Monday afternoon, January 12, 2026.

According to the Fremont Police Department, officers responded at 3:09 p.m. to reports of a major injury collision involving a pickup truck and a motorcyclist at Cushing Parkway and Northport Loop East. 

The motorcyclist was transported to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead about an hour later. The pickup driver was not injured and remained at the scene.

The motorcyclist’s identity was not immediately released, pending confirmation by the Coroner’s Office and notification of next of kin.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
