Three people were injured after a vehicle crashed into a pole in San Francisco on Sunday afternoon, January 11, 2026.

According to the San Francisco Police Department, officers responded just before 2:00 p.m. near Junipero Serra Boulevard and Winston Drive.

Police said a car struck a light pole, and the occupants were transported to a hospital. Authorities stated that all three injured individuals were expected to survive.

The damaged light pole blocked the roadway, leading to the closure of southbound lanes of Junipero Serra Boulevard while first responders worked at the scene.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
