An 84-year-old man, identified as Wei B., was killed after being struck by a vehicle in South San Gabriel on Saturday evening, January 11, 2025.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash occurred at approximately 6:05 p.m. at the intersection of San Gabriel Boulevard and Delta Street in the unincorporated area south of Rosemead.
Los Angeles County Fire Department paramedics administered CPR to the pedestrian but later pronounced him dead at the scene.
The vehicle involved was described as a white Honda Accord. It is unclear if the driver remained at the scene following the collision.
The intersection was temporarily closed as authorities conducted their investigation.
The CHP is actively investigating the cause of the crash.
