One person was injured after a vehicle caught fire following a collision in San Francisco on Sunday morning, January 4, 2026.

According to the San Francisco Fire Department, crews responded to the crash just after 10:00 a.m. at Brotherhood Way and Junipero Serra Boulevard near Lake Merced.

Video shared on social media showed smoke coming from a burning vehicle as firefighters arrived and extinguished flames in the engine area. F

irefighters removed the occupants from the vehicle, and one person was transported to a local hospital with injuries described as non-life-threatening.
